International Champions Cup 2016: Real Madrid vs Chelsea Match Betting Preview

Real Madrid play Chelsea at Michigan’s behemoth venue ‘The Big House’ on Saturday evening in the International Champions Cup.

Real Madrid Betting News

Real Madrid take on the Blues this Saturday on the back of their first pre-season match against PSG last Thursday.

The Champions League holders lost to PSG 3-1 in their International Champions Cup fixture, with Marcelo scoring Los Blancos’ solitary goal.

Zinedine Zidane fielded a relatively strong side against PSG, with regulars Raphael Varane, Marcelo, Casemiro and newly-returned Alvaro Morata all starting in Ohio.

Zidane’s younger son Luca, 18, is also part of his travelling squad and could well play while Sergio Ramos has only just re-joined the group.

However, the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale are yet to join the Real Madrid squad for pre-season.

Chelsea Betting News

Fresh on the back of their 1-0 victory over Jurgen Klopp’s mixed Liverpool side, Chelsea will look to make it two victories from two in the ICC, taking on the might of Los Blancos this weekend.

The Blues have now played three pre-season matches, having beaten Rapid Vienna and subsequently losing to RZ Pellets.

Antonio Conte has most of his players at his disposal apart from new signing N’Golo Kante, who is on his holidays following his exploits with his nation France at Euro 2016.

Along with Kante, Cesc Fabregas will be unavailable for selection following his red card against Liverpool.

Real Madrid vs Chelsea Match Prediction

Chelsea will be confident on the back of their assured display against Liverpool, with Conte’s side looking to build upon that performance this coming Saturday.

The Blues looked great out of possession against the Reds, with their defence surely relishing the challenge of Real Madrid.

A tight match is a guarantee, with a draw the likely result here.
